This past Sunday, in The Urban Scholastic Center's partner church (Servant Community Church), a first grade student came up to Pastor Chuck after the service and handed him a piece of paper. Here it is:
Not bad for first grade!
We're excited to see youth of all ages learn about the Gospel and begin to live it out.

Last Monday in The USC's Life Enrichment program, Anthony asked his mentor, Kent, where he could buy a Bible. Anthony said he loved to read long books, and he wanted to read the whole Bible!
The following Wednesday, Anthony came to Soul Food with a new Bible, and he proudly showed it to everyone.
Students in our neighborhood are hungry for truth, for life, and for God. Thank God that He is allowing us to minister to these children by feeding them God's Word. Pray for open hearts and minds as we teach and live out what Jesus taught us.
