Life Enrichment I Lead Coordinator
Hello USC Friends & Family,
My name is Jaleesa Evans and I am the Life Enrichment I Lead Coordinator at the USC. I earned my BFA in Speech Communication in 2016, then moved to Kansas City two weeks after that to begin my career in Education. Before joining the USC, I taught middle school math for two years and early childhood education for three years.
Working with youth has always been a passion of mine. I recognize the value and impact that I can have on a child just by simply being there and loving on them. My heart is to see every child become the powerful leader I know they can be, and to be intentional about showing them that I believe in their present and their future. I want every child I encounter to experience genuine love and a renewed hope.
I wholeheartedly believe it takes a village to raise a child. My role is to make sure the children and families I work with know that I’m just trying to be part of that village simply because I love and care for them. I love what I do because I know that being a light and sharing the love of Christ is what I have been called to do. It brings me so much excitement to know that I am playing a part in teaching, mentoring, and encouraging our future leaders.
