Sanna Schneeberger

Executive Assistant to the Leadership Team

Hi, everyone!

My name is Sanna Schneeberger and I am the Executive Assistant in the Operations Department for the USC. I live in Kansas City with my husband, my twin teenage sons, and the children we are fostering (we have been a foster family for 12 years!). I love music and sing on the worship team at my church. I enjoy the arts, cooking and eating good food, game and movie nights with my family, and I am energized by home improvement projects when they involve power tools!

I received my certification as a level three Prevention Professional in 2008, which helps me understand the process of helping the community meet the needs of youth to ultimately prevent future negative behavior. I graduated from Hampton University with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Community Agency Counseling to be able to assist community organizations with their work. I previously worked with youth-focused community organizations who created opportunities designed to mold the next generation of leaders.

Before moving to Kansas City, I collaborated with community organizations to build a youth-serving coalition/organization as well as one for a state. I had a blast setting up activities devoted to youth development, coordinating state-wide conferences and trainings for leaders and youth, and providing company mini-grants for grass-roots organizations.

I was drawn to the USC because it aligns with my desire to pour back into the lives of others and to see people through to their God-given potential. I’m excited about what I can contribute to this special center!
