Elementary Program Associate/Beautiful Feet Coordinator
Hello USC Friends & Family!
My name is Tania Jackson and I was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. I earned my Bachelors in Business from the University of Kansas, while playing collegiate basketball for their women’s program.
After graduating from KU, I transferred to use my last year of eligibility to play for the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I finished my basketball career, as well as earned a Masters in Financial Planning. Upon completion of my degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I moved to Indiana to serve as a Teacher and high school basketball coach. It was there that I found my passion to help children develop spiritually, personally and educationally.
Two years later I moved back to Kansas and began my career at the Urban Scholastic Center. Currently, I am the Coordinator for both the middle school Life Enrichment program and the Beautiful Feet program. Working at the USC gives me the opportunity to serve and be a part of an organization that makes a positive impact in the lives of students in all grade levels.
My passion is to build relationships with youth and support them on their journey to grow closer to the heart of God. I aim to “love with actions and in truth” in hopes that God’s love will help inspire youth to discover their identity, confidence and a sense of purpose. Life is about learning, loving and having fun. My goal is to make sure the students I am blessed to interact with have fun learning more about God and themselves.
